It uses high-performance cells with Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFe (LiFePO4) delivering extreme powers. They are ideal for your motorcycles, trucks, construction equipment, airplanes, LSA, quads, jetski and other applications. A charging status LED display is located on the top of the battery. It allows you to know the estimated state of charge of the Lithium 12V 350CCA starter battery.

The Lithium 12V 350CCA PowerStart® PS6100 starter battery is a compact product using Lithium ion cells. It delivers very strong currents to easily start internal combustion engines. Unlike lead-acid batteries, the voltage of the PowerStart® battery drops slightly during start-up. This delivers constant power to the starter motor.
The Lithium 12V 350CCA PowerStart® PS6100 starter battery incorporates an innovative control system (BMS Battery Management System) to ensure a very high level of safety during use. The BMS constantly monitors and balances the battery cells. This is to protect it and preserve its lifespan. The battery is protected by a waterproof ABS case. It is splash-proof and dustproof (IP56 protection class).

Does my PowerStart battery will fit with my vehicle alternator ?
Alternator are usually regulated and provide a voltage between 14.2V and 14.8v when operating. PowerStart battery has a built-in BMS that is able to limit charge current when voltage is greater than 14.4V : unlike conventional Lithium starter batteries, the BMS does not immediately cut-off charge as soon battery is reaching maximum voltage, but it will decrease incoming current using a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) device until battery is totally charged and balanced.
This innovative BMS system allow full protection and charge, even if alternator is not properly regulated or if it delivers a voltage greater than battery max charge voltage.
