High reliability

The MPPT Boost 8A solar controller for Genasun 48V Lithium battery is deployed in the world’s most remote locations. It can endure marine climates, the harsh Antarctic winters, the quasi-vacuum conditions in the upper atmosphere on board solar airplanes, etc. Manufactured in the United States, each controller is subjected to extensive electrical testing to ensure reliability.

Ultra-fast MPPT Boost: Always on target

Not all MPPT Boost controllers are equal. Most use a tracking method that scans the entire voltage range every 30-60 seconds. This works for a clear day, but traditional controllers are constantly off-target when weather conditions are less favourable. The Genasun GV-Boost 105-350W solar charge controller adapts 15 times per second to the sunshine conditions. They are always on the target and capture every available ray of sunshine.

Designed for Lithium-Ion batteries

The Genasun controllers are designed to charge the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries very efficiently.
The Genasun GV-Boost has been tested and approved with Lithium Ion PowerBrick® batteries. Unlike other controllers originally designed for lead-acid batteries. This made it possible to perfectly validate all voltage thresholds specific to the Lithium Ion load. This has also enabled us to validate the perfect interoperability with on-board BMS.
